Do you feel hopeless from past trauma-related depression? Does isolation hinder your ability to function? Do you wish you could release limiting mindsets and believe you had worth? Do you desperately wish you could reconnect with God and receive holistic healing support, but don't know where to start?
You are not alone, friend. Welcome to Heal Depression with God.
I’m Beth, who once struggled with depression and anxiety from childhood trauma, but have been transformed by God's love. I'm a certified holistic healing life coach, and I'm a cancer survivor, too. I started this podcast to encourage other women with past trauma and help them to heal. A Christian, prayer warrior, encourager and loyal friend, I help women flourish through Biblical encouragement, holistic healing strategies and mindfulness. Whenever I can, I enjoy hiking majestic mountains and savoring the sunrise. I like dancing with my grandkids, and playing board games with my family.
It was not that long ago that I sobbed in deep depression as I battled breast cancer and worked through shame from childhood sexual abuse and trauma. I believed lies of worthless and thought God had left me. The shame and sadness overwhelmed me, to the point where I considered taking my life. At my lowest point, God reached down into the pit and transformed me with His love and grace.
It wasn’t until I began connecting with my Heavenly Father by reading the Bible, practicing mindfulness, journaling and enjoying nature that I believed my life had worth. I started healing, by renewing my mind and heart with His truth. I've healed depression naturally with God's encouragement, now living joyfully and confidently. I can help you heal, too.
In this podcast, you will receive healing BIble verses, holistic healing ideas for natural, drug-free treatments. You'll also receive mindfulness tips to transform your thoughts. As you understand your God-created design, you will flourish in confidence.
If you’re ready to ditch depression and rise in resiliency and confidence, then stroll with me through mountain meadows. We will heal together, as we journey towards hope, holistic healing and new beginnings with God by our side. We'll skip in the sunshine and transform like butterflies, set free by God's truth. Join me on Heal Depression with God, where together, we can discover a new day dawning.

Embarking on a New Year, we get to start fresh with new goals and new dreams. At least that’s how we’re expected to act, as we move into 2026. Some of you, however, may feel stuck, exhausted in your healing journey. Climbing up out of depression can feel like that, hard and challenging, like you are hiking up a steep mountain. In the midst of the journey, it is difficult to keep enduring. When you are struggling, put your hope in Jesus, who is a solid rock. You can depend on Him, to carry you and help you each step of the way. You can depend on Him, as a solid rock, when you feel your life is crumbling.

How is your heart faring this Christmas season? Do you feel filled with hope, or despairing with hopelessness? For some of you, you may joyfully anticipate family gatherings, opening presents, and special Christmas Eve Services, celebrating Jesus, who came as a tiny baby in a manager 2000 years ago and became our Savior as an adult. Christmas can also stress us out, as we wrap presents, cook, clean, plan and prep. For some people, holiday stress runs deeper, wrought with pain, depression and sadness. You may be grieving the loss of a loved one, and the chair where they used to sit is empty. You may tense up, because your family is not very welcoming, and relationships are strained. You may be struggling with deep depression from past trauma or like me, with cancer from Christmas past. If you are struggling with despair this Christmas, the Lord Jesus sees and understands. He came to bring light in your darkness, hope to the hurting, peace in the chaos. In this week’s episode, we will revisit Episode 12 from February, the most popular and most often downloaded episode of 2024. “Feeling Hopeless? Three Ways God Fights for You in Deep Depression” was part of a five-part series on proclaiming the names of God from Isaiah 9:6, and how He intercedes for us through struggles with depression. If you need hope, tune in to 56-Nobody Knew How Dark My Mind Was: 3 Ways Mighty God Fights for You In Deep Depression.

Have you ever had a wonderful friend, with whom you laughed, cried and shared life, then suddenly they left? That pain of rejection can stab like a sword, leaving a gaping wound. Even Jesus was rejected, when his disciples abandoned him. He was hurt when people, who once shouted Hosanna and praised him, turned just a few days later, shouting crucify instead. Yet through it all, He endured, knowing that His Father loved him in the depths of despair. He loves you, too, more than you can ever know. If you are hurting, come soak in His love. He is the friend, who loves at all times, and He is waiting to embrace you. His love, which is high and wide and deep, is everlasting, and will carry you through each day. 51-If you've been rejected, Renew Your Mind with these Healing Verses on God's Love.
